  Jacques Bermon Webster II (born April 30, 1991) is better known under his stage name Travis Scott (formerly stylized as Travi$ Scott) is a popular American musician, rapper, songwriter, and record producer. The stage name is the name of his favorite uncle, with the initials and the first name (of Kid Cudi), of his idol, Travis Scott. Scott signed his first major label deal with Epic Records in 2012, as well as an agreement for publishing with Kanye West's GOOD Music. He signed a joint-recording agreement with Epic and T.I. Then, he launched his Grand Hustle imprint. Scott's debut full-length album, Owl Pharaoh (1983) was released as a self-release. The mixtape was followed by another mixtape, Days Before Rodeo, in 2014. Rodeo (2015) marked the release of his debut studio album. His hit single, "Antidote", was featured on it. His second album Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) was his first Billboard 200 top 100 album. Scott released his second album in conjunction with Quavo, Huncho Jack Huncho (2016). The album is the third album he had recorded with Astroworld. Scott also recorded his first Billboard Hot 100 #1 single, "Sicko Mode" which included Drake. In the latter part of 2019, Scott's label Cactus Jack Records released the compilation album JackBoys that topped the Billboard 200. The single, "Franchise", featuring Young Thug (featuring M.I.A. ), was released. Scott was the first rapper to reach first place on the Hot 100 with three songs within a mere one year.
